Atlanta (4-1) @ Philadelphia (3-2): Michael Vick is schedule to miss his second game due to the rib cartilage injury he suffer in Week 4 and the Eagles with Kevin Kolb at QB are a completely different team. The Falcons will give the Eagles a heavy dose of Michael Turner and sneak out another close win. |

Cleveland (1-4) @ Pittsburgh (3-1): I like Colt McCoy. But this week he is getting a raw deal. Hey kid, congrats on your first start, now go on the road and play against the Steelers just as Ben Roethlisberger returns from serving his four game suspension. I’ll take the two time Super Bowl winning QB over the rookie in this one. |

27 |
Seattle (2-2) @ Chicago (4-1): In its two home games, Seattle has scored 58 points. In its two road games, Seattle has scored 17. With or without Jay Cutler, I’ll take the Bears with a rejuvenated Matt Forte running the ball. |

Miami (2-2) @ Green Bay (3-2): I originally had the Dolphins winning this game, but since then, the Packers have put out an A.P.B. on Greg Jennings since nobody has seen him on the field since Week 1 and Aaron Rodgers has found him. Rodgers and the Packers will make it a point to get Jennings involved in the offense more and even though the Dolphins are coming off a bye, the Packers defense should will be the difference in this one, giving the Packers the home edge. |

Detroit (1-4) @ NY Giants (3-2): The Lions roared last week putting up 44 points. Of course, it was against the Rams. On the other hand, the Giants defense has come to life with 13 sacks the past two weeks and last week they held Arian Foster to a mere 25 yards. Look for the Giants D to make it tough on the Lions. |
24 |
20 |
New Orleans (3-2) @ Tampa Bay (3-1): After five weeks everyone can tell that the Saints are not themselves. That’s a combination of injuries and getting every team’s best game. Second-year QB Josh Freeman is making a believer out of me, but not this week. Drew Brees will get the Saints on track offensively and do just enough to win a tough divisional game. |

13 |
San Diego (2-3) @ St. Louis (2-3): San Diego has been great at home and awful on the road, with losses at Kansas City, Seattle and Oakland. Their special teams let them down in all three games. This week, look for the Chargers to correct those special team woes and for Phillip Rivers to have another big day passing as San Diego spanks the Rams. |
13 |
24 |
Kansas City (3-1) @ Houston (3-2): Kansas City lost for the first time last week and Houston got embarrassed by the Giants. Which team bounces back? I’ll take my chances with Matt Schaub and Arian Foster over Matt Cassel and Jamaal Charles. |
28 |
17 |
Baltimore (4-1) @ New England (3-1): You can’t lose a pivotal part of your offense and think everything is going to be OK, no matter what Bill Belichick and the Patriots keep telling themselves. Randy Moss made their offense go and they will miss those 50 TDs. The fact of the matter is that their defense is still young and will give up a boat load of points forcing New England to score a ton of points in order to win. Without Moss, they won’t score enough.. |

Oakland (2-3) @ San Francisco (0-5): The Raiders are playing good football? Really, they are! Unfortunately for them, this week the face a desperate 49ers team in the Battle of the Bay! I’ll take Alex Smith to bounce back at home in a must win game for San Francisco. |
27 |
21 |
NY Jets (4-1) @ Denver (2-3): Mike Ditka said he use to tell his teams to find a way or make a way and that is exactly what the Jets do. If Mark Sanchez and the offense struggle, the defense picks them up. If the defense falters, the offense steps up and lights up the scoreboard. Kyle Orton is having a great year, but this week, much like last, he will gain most of his passing yards during garbage time. |
Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010 – 1:15 pm

24 |
Dallas (1-3) @ Minnesota (1-3): 1-3 Dallas versus 1-3 Minnesota! Who would have called that in the preseason? Brett Favre just doesn’t look like he is having much fun this year, and now with the tendonitis acting up in his elbow I am not sure he finishes the season, much less this game. I like Tony Romo and the Cowboys to play focused football in a game that is must win for both teams. |
Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010 – 5:20 pm
27 |
17 |
Indianapolis (3-2) @ Washington (3-2): No way Peyton Manning plays poorly in back-to-back games. I expect the Colts go back to the offense Peyton thrives in, a pass-happy offense. Donovan McNabb and the Redskins will keep it close for a while, but Manning will get it done in the end. |
Monday, Oct. 18, 2010 – 5:30 pm
30 |
20 |
Tennessee (3-2) @ Jacksonville (3-3): Chris Johnson is back on track. Look for the Titans to run the ball often against a Jaguars team that has given up over 102 yards rushing per game. If Vince Young continues to throw the ball effectively, it will be tough for Jacksonville to keep up. |
