It's that time year again! Time for the big stars to come out and receive their prestigious RAVIES awards!

Steven and Jeff were turned down by a number of celebrities to host the RAVIES this year, and the only player available for the show was Eagles WR DeSean Jackson. Listen as Jackson receives one of the awards in tonights show.

Prior to the RAVIES, the guys talk about the state of the NFL and mention a months worth of Good Ole Boys! Yes, even a Cowboy made the list.

Steven and Jeff come out and talk about the state of the NFL, with the owners locking out the players and both sides bickering like school children. With the current "lock out", the guys discuss what other shows they can come up with and Jeff suggests Box Office Rants and Raves but Steven quickly nixes that idea.

The guys then pick a side and argue their cases. Jeff takes on the side of the players, while Steven argues for the owners, unwillingly. Right now, it appears that the players really want to see the books, but that does not appear it is going to happen. Steven rants on both sides as they claim that they are doing it for us, the fans, which could be furthest from the truth.

Finally the guys talk about some players making news off the field. The guys have a new drop as they play, "Don't be silly Adrian Peterson!" from the Motorola commercial. Both Steven and Jeff agree that Peterson's and Reshard Mendenhall's comments comparing the NFL and slavery is ridiculous!

After weeks of being away, the guys are back to finish off the season with a recap of Super Bowl XLV Recap. The guys share some stories from Dallas, TX including Radio Row fun, late nights and stuff left on the cutting room floor.

Once it is all sorted out, the guys will put up pictures, videos and interviews that they have not put up on the site just yet. The guys talk a little bit about NFL News, as Steven makes the CBA the first non-human entity HWMNBN. So the guys instead talk about some of the franchise tag players. The Eagles place the franchise tag on Michael Vick, ensuring Vick getting about $16 million payday next year, while surprise, surprise, the Chargers make WR Vincent Jackson their franchise player guaranteeing Jackson about $10 to $11 million. The guys also talk about all the options the 400 fans that did not get their seat at the Super Bowl are getting.

Steven and Jeff finish off the season by reliving Super Bowl XLV. Jeff does a Christina Aguilera impression by messing up the National Anthem, while Steven talks about the Mendenhall fumble that sealed the Steelers fate. Steven becomes the "Smartest Man Alive" as the Packers beat the Steelers 31-25 and cannot wait to punish Jeff. Who's ready for that?

Steven and Jeff thought there was no way to top yesterday's fun on Radio Row at Super Bowl 45... they were SO WRONG. The final day at the Media Center ends up being the best day of the week.

Craziness, solid football analysis, and good times are in abundance as the big day in Big D is rapidly approaching.

WOW! Probably the wildest show in the history of NFL Rants & Raves. From Radio Row at Super Bowl XLV Media Center, Steven and Jeff have plenty of ups and downs throughout the day in Dallas, Texas as they continue to have players, coaches and celebrities to make a kick in paper football.

The guys are joined by former Bronco & 49er great Bill Romanowski, Falcons Head Coach Mike Smith, World Champion and Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin (with an impromptu visit from Michael Strahan), and while waiting in futility for Super Model Brooklyn Decker, Vick "The Brick" Jacobs invades the quiet land of NFL Rants & Raves at the Sky Sports News Radio desk on Radio Row.

Besides a great visit from Danish listener and sports writer Claus, the one and only legendary Dan Patrick throws things over the top as he throws Jeff under the bus a couple of times. For anyone who was left out -- we apologize. Too much for one day!

Finally the guys make their predictions for that little football game to be played on Sunday.

Today, the guys sat down with former players Leon Lett and Martin Gramatica, former head coach Brian Billick, a famous commercial actor - Windell Middlebrooks The High Life Delivery Guy, and a super model - Marisa Miller thrown in for good measure. Plus a surprise guest (some guy from the host committee) drops by to pull back the curtain on all the preparation that went into securing the bid for the north Texas area.

Fascinating stuff, but DANG it's cold outside!!

Super Bowl Baby!!! The guys have landed in Dallas, TX and are ready to take in all that North Texas has to offer. As the guys setup on Radio Row, they give you a little tease of what has happened and take a little about the action in Dallas.

Steven and Jeff come back with the final show before Dallas. Congrats to the Packers and Steelers as they take huge leads and hold on in the end to earn spots in Super Bowl XLV. They guys talk about all of the news surrounding Jay Cutler and all of the negative criticism. Jeff thinks Cutler should have done more to try to get back into the game, while Steven said if you're hurt, your hurt and only that person can determine the severity of the injury.

They also talk about Philip Rivers sympathizing with Jay Cutler, while Sean Peyton comes out and says Drew Brees played with a sprained MCL. The guys also discussed Antonio Cromartie using more expletives when talking about the potential lockout and the Steelers embracing their role as underdogs in the Super Bowl.

The guys then get to the games and discuss the Packers having problems putting the Bears away and the Steelers hanging on for the win after taking a 24-0 lead over the Jets. Steven says both Packers and Steelers offensive performances need to be better in the Super Bowl as they were both shut out in the second half of their respective games and the guys agree that this is going to be a fantastic Super Bowl featuring Aaron Rodgers and Ben Roethlisberger. Plus, Jeff gets to within one game of Steven in the Challenge game and now must pick against Steven in the Super Bowl if he is to forgo getting punished.

Steven and Jeff cannot contain their excitement as they get ready for Championship Weekend and the Super Bowl. The guys get ready to do their final two shows from L.A. before heading to Dallas for the BIG game. The guys start with some NFL News and discuss the meeting between Roger Goodell and DeMaurice Smith and Steven is ready to HWMNBN all CBA talk. They also discuss Jim Mora withdrawing from the Eagles and Broncos defensive coordinators jobs, Rob Ryan becoming the Cowboys new defensive coordinator and Tom Brady having a stress fracture in his right foot. Uh-oh did the Patriots say "foot" again?

The guys then focus their attention on the NFC and AFC Championship Games coming up this weekend. Steven has some words for Bears fans and the guys both agree on the outcome of Bears/Packers. Both guys like Aaron Rodgers over Jay Cutler, but find out who has the edge in that game. Then they discuss the Jets heading to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers and Steven tries to change Jeff's pick saying that Jeff has picked against the Jets twice in the playoffs already and lost both times. Is Jeff going to go against them again?

What a weekend of football as both No. 1 seeds get knocked out of the playoffs by No. 6 seeds! Amazing! The guys get right into it and discuss the biggest NFL News to hit this week as Brett Favre files his retirement papers with the NFL after 20 seasons, prompting Steven to say, "Let Favre Watch 2011 begin!" Steven and Jeff also discuss the Raiders hiring Hue Jackson, Patrick Chung taking the blame for botching the fake punt, and the Bears talking smack already as TE Kellen Davis declares that the Bears will beat the Packers and go to the Super Bowl.

The guys then focus their attention on the four Divisional Round games and they loved all of them, except for Steven hating the Bears/Seahawks game. The guys agreed that the Steelers and Packers were superior on Saturday in besting the Ravens and Falcons. What happened to Matt Ryan at home? They also agree that Seattle just did not show up to play the Bears as their 21 points in the 4th quarter was all garbage time junk and with Steven making an 11th hour switch from the Patriots to the Jets, he and Jeff both end the weekend at 3-1.

Jeff picks up a game in the Challenge Game, but needs a correct pick in the AFC or NFC Championship game to ensure the Super Bowl will be needed for the tie. Steven questions his sanity for taking the Seahawks in the Challenge Game and Jeff asks, why must he always make it this Challenge Game thing so close.
