Welcome to Jags TV! All Jaguars, all the time. While it may not be that you wouldn’t know it by listening to NFL news. The guys do bring you all the Jags news plus a whole lot more. Wayne Weaver and family release the reigns of the organization along with head coach Jack Del Rio. Shahid Khan will go before ownership finance team in one week and be approved by the other owners. Khan has already been vetted during his attempt to purchase the Rams in February of 2010. The sale then went to minority partner, Stan Kroenke. Everyone has said all the right things about keeping the team in Jacksonville.
DelRio, has been fired after 8+ seasons at the helm where he recorded a 69-73 tally as team’s head coach. Things had deteriorated the past few seasons. There has been a virtual revolving door at various coaching departments. Defensive coordinator, Mel Tucker will take over as Interim head coach.
Monday Night Football showed the Saints are king of the dome. A 49-24 beat down of the Giants on MNF made it clear to the world that the Saints are going to be difficult to beat in New Orleans where the average 42 points per game. Those same Saints are averaging only 24 points per game on the road. The Giants are free falling after their hot 6-2 start. They now sit at 6-5 and could be seeing the end of their season slipping through their fingers.
Ndamukong Suh gets his comeuppance for his Thanksgiving melee, with a smack back from the Commissioner. He hits where it hurts (in the wallet). The League office informed Suh and the Lions that he has been suspended 2 games without pay. This means he is scheduled to miss Saints and Vikings game without appeal. The guys encourage him to demonstrate maturity for once and take the suspension without fighting it.
Jeff’s Powerful Rankings are out and Steven says “ready to be ridiculed.” He thinks the Bengals are a tad bit high and the Falcons might be a little low. Go out to nflrandr.com to take a look for yourselves.
Another great 5 minute fix.
