Tennessee Titans RB LeGarrette Blount apparently still has not learned that the sport he is involved in, is playing football, not boxing. According to an AP report by Teresa M. Walker, Blount threw a punch at Titans defensive end Erik Bakhtiari near the end of practice.
While this punch may not cost him a suspension, like the one he earned nearly a season ago when he punched Boise State defensive end Byron Hout, he is still an undrafted rookie free agent trying to earn a roster spot for a professional football team. Not an MMA title shot.
Blount needs to get his act together before he finds himself out of a job, traveling down the career path of a Maurice Clarett, and becoming nothing more than a sad punchline.
lol!!!!!! “sad punchline” classic guys haha
If your going to punch someone, punch the kicker or punter. They won’t fight back and are used to be being treated like fleas on a dog. That said when your an undrafted free agent its probably best to to be on your best behaviour. What he did was the equivalent of punching a fellow candidate before a job interview. Not advisable.
Seems like that he can’t handle the pressure and by that he’ll be out of the job that he apparently never even had.
