Welcome to Steven’s Birthday Show! AKA Week 2 Preview Show.

If your team lost in Week 1, the start of Week 2 cannot come soon enough! Steven says he understands this all too well. He also stops and asks for a moment of silence as he remembers all of the victims of 9/11 thirteen years ago.

It seems like this Ray Rice fiasco will not go away, much to the chagrin of the NFL, so Steven shares his final thoughts on it. The Cardinals John Abraham may be done with football and Steven takes a look at all 16 games as he puts his picks up against Matthew Parsons, who will represent the fans this week.

Football is finally here and Week 1 is in the Books. Steven recaps the first week but first, he talks about the Ray Rice fiasco, the Buffalo Bills getting sold, “Houston We Have a Problem” and Graham Gano kicking it with the band. In Weekly Picks, the fans strike first as Steven losses the week and the challenge game Jeremy Parker and the people.

In NFL News, Steven talks about the Cowboys signing of Michael Sam to the practice squad. Colts owner Jim Irsay pleads guilty and gets suspended, the Broncos get a suspension of their own as Wes Welker gets a four game ban, the Raiders are going to start the Carr over Schaub and Matt Benson joins Steven in Fan’s Take to talk about the move. Plus Steven tells you when Tom Brady will retire.

In discussing the weekly games, Steven will randomly select a fan playing in the weekly pool to put their picks up against Steven. This week Jeremy Parker (jeremyparkerfrcs) goes head-to-head against Steven. In the Challenge Game, Jeremy picks his favorite team, the 49ers over Steven’s favorite team, the Cowboys.

Steven brings you the annual NFL Prediction Show. He looks into his crystal ball and gives you his predictions for the upcoming NFL Season. In NFL News, the Rams release Michael Sam, he cleared waivers and no one has signed him to a practice squad yet. Whaaat?

Alex Smith gets a big contract extension and says take that San Francisco! The Bills name their team captains for 2014 and there is a notable omission, the Houston Texans trade for a QB and we have a Good ‘Ole Boy in San Francisco.

Too much happening and too little time, so Steven covers all eight teams from the NFC South and NFC West in this show. He previews the Falcons, Panthers, Saints and Buccaneers from the South as well as the 49ers, Cardinals, Rams and the Defending Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks.

For the NFC North Preview Show, Steven is joined by three fans to cover the Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings. Nobody stepped up for the Chicago Bears, so Steven covered them alone.

Steven talks about some of the big names the get the axe as teams start to trim their roster to 75. Listen as Steven says the NFL needs to stick to Brandon Meriweather’s two game suspension, there is a Richie Incognito sighting in Florida, the Jets suspend a cornerback for going AWOL and the Vikings decide to start Matt Cassel instead of rookie Teddy Bridgewater. What does Steven think of that?

With only 15 days until the start of the NFL season, Steven starts looking at the NFC. Today he covers the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Redskins.

Steven has Cowboys CB Bandon Carr on the show and he invites a rival to join him on Fans Take to cover the Redskins. He talks about three Good ‘Ole Boys all who couldn’t, “Just Say No!” He talks about Johnny Football becoming Johnny Clipboard, and why that’s a good thing. Plus the Cowboys are worth how much? Find out how much moola the Cowboys are worth.

Today, Steven’s brings an end to the AFC previews as he looks at the Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers.

Steven also discusses fans taking cheap shots at NFL players, literally. He looks at the ramifications of the Broncos losing Danny Trevathan for 6-8 weeks, Cowboys CB Orlando Scandrick suspended four games for PEDs and what the heck are the Browns doing at QB.

In the AFC South Preview Show, Steven gives his take on the Indianapolis Colts, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans.

Steven spends some time welcoming back Brett Favre because Favre is BACK!!! Steven also shares his thoughts on the Bears TE Martellus Bennett getting suspended for a training camp fight (Whaaaatttt?), RB David Wilson having to retire from football and HBO’s first episode of Hard Knocks, Training Camp with the Atlanta Falcons. YAWN!!!

Plus Steven shares some sound bites from Dallas Cowboys Training Camp which include head coach Jason Garrett, TE Jason Witten and backup QB Brandon Weeden and Jacksonville Jaguars offensive lineman Luke Bowanko comes on the show.

Steven wishes Luke the best on making the team and his upcoming trip to London.

Steven is joined by Sky Sports NFL Correspondent Richard Graves to discuss NFL news and the AFC North. While Steven shares his thoughts on the Lions tabling Ndamukong Suh’s contract and Suh’s response, they both discuss, the Cowboys injury problems, the Cardinals making Patrick Peterson the highest paid CB in the NFL and Richard’s interview with commissioner Roger Goodell. There just might be a team in London soon.

Then the guys focus on the AFC North. Richard seems to like the Ravens and the Steelers while Steven disagrees about the Ravens. Steven likes the Bengals again and has some interesting things to say about the Cleveland Browns.
