Wow! Those Arizona Cardinals are flying up the rankings and find Jeff admitting that he got them wrong. Speaking of Jeff — his curse seems to be alive and well as the Panthers take a tumble down the table. Read, comment, and enjoy.

Not that it matters, but are the 49ers 3rd or 4th? You mixed the Ravens and 49ers reviews.
Now it’s showing the right one. Comment retracted.
How can the Lions be bronze when they’ve been hugely uninsiring against the Titans? And their D which is a strong point from last season has not been good enough?
Also I’d say the Bears are too high for the team as a whole, if the rankings for the D I’d agree but personally I’ve not seen enough which would make them a bronze team for me. I’d say Pittsburgh are too high as I just don’t think they’ve been as good as Pittsburgh would expect.
I’d say you have my team (the Broncos) about right, I think people are worrying too much and forgetting the 2 teams they’ve played the last 2 weeks and according to your most powerful rankings’ top 2 (which I agree with) and who could realistically be facing off against each other in the Super Bowl this year.
Just for 1 drop Cleveland lost the game!!
Cheers from Brazil!
Lets call Seattle a 1 – 2 team. They should still be higher than the Rams, the Redskins, the Eagles, and Cowboys. The NFC West is still underrated, and this year, the NFC East is overrated
Interesting. Rather than bearch about the place of my team, ponder this. If you arrived on planet earth 2 months ago, would your rankings be the same? Or are you propping up a BUNCH of those teams (and holding a few back) based on last seasons performance? I’m not saying you should completely ignore what we know from last season, I think preseason + 3 games is enough to start using a bit more of the ‘present’ in your rankings than the ‘past’.
For example, GB 18 places higher than NO? Chicago 13 higher than Minnesota… Hmmm
