The Oakland Raiders traveled down south and told the San Diego Chargers who’s boss of the AFC West. Jeff thinks this game represented the continued collapse of the franchise. Regardless of injuries, the lack of effort and passion was apparent. Steven thinks the teams favorable schedule will keep them in the race all season. Raiders defense was probably more impressive than the resurgent career of Carson Palmer. Holding the Chargers offense to 65 total yards in the 1st half. Good game and good win for the Raiders who now lead the AFC West by a game.

California fans are left to hang their heads in shame — again — as they take the stage for all the wrong reasons. A 25 year old man was stabbed after last night’s Chargers/Raiders game in the parking lot of Qualcomm Stadium. Police say “it doesn’t appear the fight had anything with a sports rivalry.” No suspect was found and the victim was uncooperative with police. This on the heels of multiple shootings outside Candlestick Park after a preseason 49ers/Raiders game and a man nearly beaten to death in the Dodger’s Stadium parking lot after a Bay Area game.

The latest poll is out and reveals the least popular head coaches in the NFL. 131 players from 31 clubs were polled with the only stipulation being that you couldn’t pick your own coach. There were so many coaches that people wanted to vote for that the list includes a three way tie for 5th place. The guys are frankly sick of poles and therefore have their own picks for “least favorite pole pole.”
