That does it now, all 17 weeks are in the books and another regular season comes to an end. Jeff and Steven discuss some of the casualties of the season as the Rams fire head coach Steve Spagnuolo and GM Bill Devaney, Tampa Bay fires head coach Raheem Morris and his staff, Colts owner Jim Irsay fire the Polians and the Bears fire GM Jerry Angelo while OC Mike Martz resigns. Most of those were expected, but what wasn’t, was the Chargers keeping both AJ Smith and Norv Turner.
The guys are joined in by Comcast SportsNet Bay Area 49ers Reporter Mindi Bach to discuss the 49ers unexpected 13-3 season. Mindi believes that the addition of a few players plus the play of QB Alex Smith helped the 49ers to that record and the number 2 seed in the NFC. Steven agrees with Mindi that it would best for the 49ers to get the Giants or Falcons in the Divisional round but most likely will get the Saints. Finally the guys finish talking about the final games of the season. There were lots of highs and of course plenty of lows, but the guys say, bring on the Playoffs.
