Jacksonville (2-2) @ Buffalo (0-4): Maurice Jones-Drew finally showed up last week finding the endzone 3 times as the Jaguars upset the Colts. This week, Drew will not have to score three times as the Bills has the worst offense in the league (ranked 32nd overall). Bills GM Buddy Nix expressed his frustrations over the team’s 0-4 start calling the Bills rebuilding a "painful" process. No Buddy, the Bills are just painful to watch. |

Denver (2-2) @ Baltimore (3-1): Kyle Orton has been throwing the ball effectivly this season, averaging 354.8 yards per game. This week, however, he faces the #1 ranked defense overall and #1 defense against the pass when the Broncos visit Baltimore. Baltimore beat the Steelers in the final minute of the game when Joe Flacco hit TJ Houshmandzadeh with 36 seconds left to play. No last second heroics this week, as the Baltimore D takes care of business. |

Kansas City (3-0) @ Indianapolis (2-2): It has been 40 years since the league did not have a single undfeated team after Week 5 in a season. Well, that streak comes to an end this year as the Chiefs go down in Indy. Jaamal Charles and Thomas Jones will try to keep the ball away from Peyton Manning and the Colts, but that will not stop the Colts from rolling the Chiefs to leave zero undefeated teams heading into Week 6. |

Green Bay (3-1) @ Washington (2-2): The Packers have to find a way to get that ball to Greg Jennings. If they do, the Packers will be tough to stop. The Redskins are coming off a huge win against the Eagles and will experience a little letdown in this game, giving the Packers the slight edge they need to win this game. |

St. Louis (2-2) @ Detroit (0-4): Ah, if only Matt Stafford were playing in this one. Unfortunately for the Lions, he is not and the Rams are starting to play good football. Sam Bradford is earning that big payday he received and Steve Spagnuolo has got his defense playing great. They are an aggressive bunch that will get after the ball and keep the Lions winless. |

17 |
Chicago (3-1) @ Carolina (0-4): Do I actually have to pick a winner in this game? The Bears are going without Jay Cutler, and that leaves Todd Collins quarterbacking the team. Even with the Bears’ tough defense, the Bears will not be able to score enough points in the game, giving the Panthers their first win of the season. |

23 |
Tampa Bay (2-1) @ Cincinnati (2-2): Terrell Owens went off last week and this week he does it again, only this time Chad Ochocinco gets involved as well. The Buccaneers are slipping back to the Pirates That Don’t Do Anything, and this week, they will not do enough to win on the road. |
24 |
20 |
Atlanta (3-1) @ Cleveland (1-3): Just how many close games are the Falcons going to be involved in this year. They cannot continue to play that way and expect to be taken seriously. A tough win on the road should get the Falcons over the hump, but don’t be surprised if the Browns find a way to win a close one. |

28 |
NY Giants (2-2) @ Houston (3-1): Eli Manning may throw for a ton of yards this week as he faces the the worst pass defense in the league in Houston. Last week the Giants defense woke up as they recorded 10 sacks against the Bears. They won’t make the Texans offensive line look that bad. The Texans will get a win at home on the legs of Arian Foster. |

New Orleans (3-1) @ Arizona (2-2): All four Saints games have been decided by five points or less. So far this season, the Saints have a five point win over Minnesota, a three point win over San Francisco, a thee point loss to Atlanta and a two point win over Carolina. Injuries are starting to take their toll on the defending Super Bowl Champs. This week they get an easy win as Arizona opts to give Max Hall his first NFL career start. |

Tennessee (2-2) @ Dallas (1-2): Chris Johnson is human after all and has failed to rush for over 100 yards twice already this season. He will have another hard time this week as the Cowboys look to stop the Titans running game and dare Vince Young to beat them with the pass. Young won’t be ready for that and the Cowboys will get get to .500 after their first home win this season. |

21 |
San Diego (2-2) @ Oakland (1-3): San Diego looks to make it 14 straight wins over Oakland and the Raiders wil be without Darren McFadden this week. That will hurt their offense enough to give the Chargers another win. However, the bright side is nobody in Oakland will see the loss as the game will be the 10th straight blackout in Oakland and third this season. |
Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010 – 8:20 pm | ||

Philadelphia (2-2) @ San Francisco (0-4): Another injury has forced Andy Reid to make a QB change in Philadelphia again. Only this time, Kevin Kolb will have to give the job back to Mike Vick after Vick returns from his rib injury. The 49ers offense looks awful, no matter which Offensive Coordinator is calling the shots. Another loss here and Mike Singletary may not get to visit London later this month. |

Minnesota (1-2) @ NY Jets (3-1): Here comes the slouch again! Apparently cornerback Darrelle Revis enjoys getting Randy Moss upset. After getting beat by Moss for a touchdown in their Week 2 meeting and then hobbling off the field with a hamstring injury, Revis said that after he left the game Moss eased up in the Patriots loss. Since then, the Patriots decieded they no longer needed Randy’s services, so Revis gets to try and cover Moss again on Monday Night Football. Brett Favre will be feeling young again and he will make sure he throws plenty of passes in Moss’ direction. Moss gets the Vikings offense back on track and Minnesota gets a much needed road win. |

all times Eastern
|
Great job. Biggest question is why times are Eastern. They ALL suck — whole coast. Whole time-zone!! I do think you are drinking grampa Brett’s magical elixir too much. It will take more than four days to figure out how to retro-fit this offense AGAIN.
Hey there… both of you! Take it easy! Steven… watch how you talk about my Bills. They ARE rebuilding, and so it’s interesting to watch just for that. They are currently weeding the very neglected garden, getting ready to get the seeds for next year’s improving crop … and it will be a thing of beauty in a few years. For now… someone’s got to be the worst team in the league and we are doing a fantastic job of that!
Jeff… I’ve been to both coasts, and while I love In-N-Out and all the great national parks and other treasures of the West coast… the East coast is where it’s at. Sorry… :-)
PS… Jags will beat the Bills 21-17
It’s so hard to pick a winner these days! On paper some teams are clearly better than others, but one or two mistakes can turn a game on its head. And then other games which were supposed to be close end up as blowouts. This league is crazy.
@ John: Boy, thats true. Especially this year – you cant get your head around the games!
