16

NY Jets (2-1) @ Buffalo (0-3):
Mark Sanchez has turned a corner and looks in command of the Jets offense. Even with the move to Ryan Fitzpatrick, the Bills offense is just plain awful. They were able to score on the young Patriots secondary, but will have a harder time moving the ball against the Jets tough defense, even without Darrelle Revis in the lineup. Jets pull away in the second half and coast to an easy win.

23

13

Cincinnati (2-1) @ Cleveland (0-3):
Carson Palmer needs to find out what is wrong with the offense and fast. The Browns have yet to win a game, but they have been solid in their three outings. I expect the Bengals defense can get pressure on Seneca Wallace and limit the Browns scoring opportunities.. Where you at 85? Chad Ochocinco plays big against teams within the division, and this will be no exception.

13

15

Baltimore (2-1) @ Pittsburgh (3-0):
Ben Roethlisberger returns from suspension next week, and the Steelers may hand him a 4-0 team. The Steelers will start Charlie Batch again this week, but the offense will not win the game for Pittsburgh, their defense will. The Ravens struggled last week versus the Browns and with an injured Ray Rice, I expect Joe Flacco and Anquan Boldin will not be able to repeat last week’s performance on the road.

18

26

Denver (1-2) @ Tennessee (2-1):
The Titans run the ball well with Chris Johnson leading the charge. The Broncos are good against the run but the Titans run the ball better, ranked 8th in the league rushing. The last time Tennessee was at home, they got embarrassed by the Steelers and they will not allow that to happen again.

17

31

Detroit (0-3) @ Green Bay (2-1):
I expect this game would be much closer if Matt Stafford were healthy. He will miss another game this week for the Lions, and that is why they will fall short again. The Packers are coming off an embarrassing loss, and will come out focused and prepared to right the ship. Even without a rushing attack, the Packers win big.

17

23

San Francisco (0-3) @ Atlanta (2-1):
Atlanta coming off a huge win on the road, may have a little let down this week. The 49ers come into this game 0-3 and are searching for answers. Alex Smith gets a new OC and the 49ers offense looks to get unleashed with Mike Johnson now calling the shots. 49ers keep it close, but Atlanta finds a way to win it at home.

9

35

Carolina (0-3) @ New Orleans (2-1):
Carolina is a mess and could very well be the worst team in football as rookie Jimmy Clausen gets his 2nd career start. The Saints are coming off that awful overtime loss at the hands of Atlanta. No Pierre Thomas. No Reggie Bush. No Problem! The Saints still have far too many weapons for the Panthers to compete.

23

16

Seattle (2-1) @ St. Louis (1-2):
Cannot say enough about Sam Bradford. The Rams made the right decision to play him as a rookie. Bradford will only get better, but this week he will struggle against the Seahawks and will miss Steven Jackson’s presence in the back field. Seahawks win a close one.
Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010 – 4:05 pm

30

17

Indianapolis (2-1) @ Jacksonville (1-2):
Peyton Manning makes receivers look good and right now nobody looks better than Austin Collie who is leading the league in receptions, receiving yards and TD receptions. The Jaguars have not done much right the past two weeks and Jack Del Rio may lose his job if they get blown out again.

28

20

Houston (2-1) @ Oakland (1-2):
Look for the Texans to bounce back and get back into the win column over the Raiders. Arian Foster is becoming a household name and he will have a big games against the Raiders defense which is ranked 24th against the run. Mario Williams will get comfortable in the Raiders backfield and Bruce Gradkowski may think about giving Jason Campbell his job back.
Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010 – 4:15 pm

27

23

Washington (1-2) @ Philadelphia (2-1):
I don’t belive for a second that the Eagles traded Donovan McNabb to Washington because they felt his skills had diminished to a point where he could not hurt them within the division. But, whatever their reason was, I expect we will all find out that they made the wrong decision. After a poor showing in St. Louis, McNabb will have the Redskins ready to bring down the birds and the Redskins defense will slow Michael Vick enough to give McNabb the win against his former team.

13

34

Arizona (2-1) @ San Diego (1-2):
Derek Anderson has made Larry Fitgerald irrelevant, and that is hard to do. Fitzgerald is averaging four catches for 50 yards per game. That is not enough production from your best player. San Diego is off to another slow start after falling to 1-2 with a loss at Seattle last week. The Chargers need to reclaim their swagger, and Phillip Rivers will get that swagger back this week.
Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010 – 8:20 pm

20

29

Chicago (3-0) @ NY Giants (1-2):
The Giants have found themselves on the wrong side of a lopsided score in the past two weeks and last week they were embarrassed by big mistakes and five personal foul penalties. No way the play that bad at home again. The Bears are a few plays from 0-3 instead of 3-0 and this week the Giants will expose the Bears as pretenders and not contenders.
Monday, Oct. 4, 2010 – 8:30 pm

30

20

New England (2-1) @ Miami (2-1):
This is Chad Henne’s chance to shine and prove he is the Dolphins QB of the future. Unfortunately for him, the Patriots will be coming in with a chip on their shoulder and Bill Belichick will make sure Tom Brady and the Patriots play solid football on Monday Night and announce they are still the division’s elite team.
