Tennessee (1-1) @ NY Giants (1-1):
The Giants could not stop the run last week versus Indianapolis and here comes Chris Johnson. I expect the Titans to run early and often and get Vince Young back in the groove. Giants defense is too inconsistent to stop the Titans offense and the Giants are not built to play catch-up football.

Cincinnati (1-1) @ Carolina (0-2):
After facing two tough defense, the Bengals offense finally will get some breathing room and light up a Panthers secondary that is suspect. Not even Jimmy Clausen’s first start will be enough to help Carolina win at home.

20

10

Pittsburgh (2-0) @ Tampa Bay (2-0):
The Steelers were supposed to be 1-3 by the time Ben Roethlisberger returns from suspension. However the Steelers have different plans. Tampa Bay is a very young team that has surprised everyone with two big wins. Unfortunately, they face a fierce Steelers defense that will pressure and confuse the young Buccaneers offense. Charlie Batch manages the game well enough to give the Steelers a 3-0 start.

38

Buffalo (0-2) @ New England (1-1):
How many times have you heard this, this week? The Patriots have won 13 straight games over the Bills! True, that some of those games have been close, but after getting embarrassed by the Jets last week, there is no way that Tom Brady allows the Patriots to lose at home to another division opponent. Patriots win big! Period.

12

23

Cleveland (0-2) @ Baltimore (1-1):
Can Eric Mangini already be on the hot seat after losing two close games his team should have won? If he isn’t already, he will be after losing three straight. The Ravens finally get to have their home opener and Joe Flacco and Ray Rice are just itching to get the Ravens offense back on track. Something they will have no problem doing at home.

27

20

San Francisco (0-2) @ Kansas City (2-0):
After starting the season with zero passion and a loss at Seattle, the 49ers showed this past Monday Night what they can do when they play inspired football. Look for 49ers to give the Chiefs a heavy dose of Frank Gore. The 49ers will correct their mistakes from the first two weeks and win a close one on the road.

28

23

Dallas (0-2) @ Houston (2-0):
Remember Week 15 last year when nobody gave the Cowboys a chance to win against the then, unbeaten New Orleans Saints. Dallas was coming off a two game slide and went into a hostile environment, silenced the raucous crowd and gave the Saints their first loss. When the Cowboys don’t make mistakes, they are tough to beat. Expect them to be focused, play a turnover free game and hand the Texans their first loss of the season.

13

20

Detroit (0-2) @ Minnesota (0-2):
Week after week, the Lions keep getting better, but there is no chance Brett Favre lets the Vikings fall to 0-3. The Vikings defense and Jared Allen will pressure Shaun Hill all day and make sure they stop rookie Jahvid Best. Adrian Peterson will out gain the rookie and give the Vikings their first win of the season.

21

24

Atlanta (1-1) @ New Orleans (2-0):
I’d like to pick the Falcons here and if they were playing in Atlanta, I would. However Drew Brees just keeps pulling out wins out of a hat, and until the Saints lose, I cannot bring myself to pick against them, especially at home. Even with the loss of Reggie Bush, the Saints will find a way to win another close game and move to 3-0.
Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010 – 4:05 pm

24

13

Washington (1-1) @ St. Louis (0-2):
Donovan McNabb was on fire last week and I expect that will continue again this week in a fast track inside the Edwards Jones Dome. The Redskins defense will come out with a chip on their shoulder after giving up a 17 point lead to Houston last week and Sam Bradford and the Rams will suffer for it.

27

16

Philadelphia (1-1) @ Jacksonville (1-1):
He’s baaaack! One week after looking like a superstar again, Michael Vick had taken over the starting quarterback job in Philadelphia. Maurice Jones-Drew may not be available for the game, but with or without him, the Jaguars will not have enough offense to out duel Vick and the Eagles.
Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010 – 4:15 pm

33

20

Indianapolis (1-1) @ Denver (1-1):
The Broncos were riding high coming off a big win against Seattle then came crashing down with the news of the death of teammate Kenny McKinley. Not sure how the Broncos are focused enough to play a game, much less against Peyton Manning and the Colts.

10

27

Oakland (1-1) @ Arizona (1-1):
Derek Anderson does enough to keep his quarterback job for one more week. Getting Beanie Wells back will help. Arizona is tough at home, and the Raiders are not consistent enough to play well on the road. Not sure how the move to Bruce Gradkowski helps the Raiders at all this week. Typical Raiders!

30

17

San Diego (1-1) @ Seattle (1-1):
It looks like the Seahawks are playing Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Who shows up this week? The team that spanked San Francisco in the opener, or the team that got spanked in Denver last week. Regardless, Philip Rivers and the Chargers have corrected their problems on the offense side of the ball and should be able to handle the noise the 12th man will generate.

Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010 – 8:20 pm

28

24

NY Jets (1-1) @ Miami (2-0):
The Dolphins swept the Jets last year winning at home 31-27 and in New York 30-25. The Jets showed last week that they can play with the best within their division and in the league and are looking to avenge those two losses from a year ago. Mark Sanchez turned a corner last week and this week, he takes it to the Dolphins.
Monday, Sept. 27, 2010 – 8:30 pm

30

20

Green Bay (2-0) @ Chicago (2-0):
Monday night. Soldier Field. 2-0 versus 2-0 for an early division lead. The ball has certainly bouncing the Bears way and they have been wining with smoke and mirrors. The magic ends this week as Aaron Rodgers and the Packers work some magic of their own. Plus the Packers unleash their defense and have Clay Matthews become very familiar with Jay Cutler.
