Just 10 minutes into NBC’s opening night broadcast and I am already mad. I thought ABC went too far with their ridiculously over-produced and over-hyped production. That same crew (Al & John were not the only part of the ABC crew brought over), seems feel like they have license to cram even more glitz and glitter down our throats. The game is the thing! The game is good enough all by itself! Stop Super Bowling everything! Enough of the rock bands, busses, and fireworks!

GEEZE boys ….. it is interesting, it is fun .. but afterall it is just a F%$@!## game – get it in focus. It is not feeding the hungry, healing the sick or changing the world.
Because it is interesting, in the way all sports are commanding, and to some people it is the culmanation of six months watching (a somewhat captivaudience) it is used to sell all manner of thing, most of which I can’t afford.
Everyone knows this – such is why Janet Jackson’s “equipment” problems made such a rucus …. something unscheduled happened … something real.
I LIKE the game – that is why I am watching the NE/Buffalo game in replay right now. The rest is there for someone else …. not a football fan … but someone else.
