The guys also talk about some of the omissions they made last week when talking about the Miami Dolphins, but Steven just gave Dolphins fans loads to worry about.

Steven and Jeff the turn their attention to the AFC North as they look at the Ravens, Bengals, Browns and Steelers. Steven thinks this division will be a two horse race with only one team from the division reaching the playoffs. Steven jumps on the Bengals bandwagon early, while Jeff warns him of the perils of jumping on an early wagon. Jeff likes the Ravens, although both guys scratch their heads at the Marc Bulger signing. They also agree that the Browns are going to have a hard long season with little offensive weapons to call upon.

The guys end talking about Fantasy Football, as they open up the 4th Annual RARN Fantasy Football Leagues. Previous owners should check their emails for their invitation while new players should go to Fantasy 2010.

Steven and Jeff start out with a look at the Franchise Quarterback Poll Results. It received the largest response out of any RARN poll ever. The guys were surprised that Brett Favre received so few votes and gave your their thoughts as to why many of you left Brett off the list. The poll clearly showed what Jeff said in his article, that many teams in the NFL lack a quality QB. The poll also shows that there are three elite QBs, four our five pretty good QBs and some that are just so-so, and there were even four QBs that did not receive a single vote.

The guys then discuss some of the current news in the NFL like the owners voting for a Super Bowl in the New York/New Jersey market and the guys have plenty to say about that. Jeff even lets the Commish, Roger Goodell get his goat. Other news includes QB Ben Roethlisberger back at practice for the Steelers, Jeremy Shockey’s seizure, and a little debate about the greatest TV or Film character of the past 20 years. Doh!

Finally, the guys go back in time to check out the 2007 NFL Draft. Listen as the Steven and Jeff take a look at 10 teams with the top 10 picks and how they have fared with the players selected in 2007.

Plus the guys throw some listeners under the bus. What?

Part 2 of the Post Draft Recap is here and Steven and jeff are set to share their opinions on what all the teams did in the NFC. However, since there was plenty of NFL News to talk about, the guys did not get to the NFC West, but they promise to talk about the Cardinals, 49ers, Rams and Seahawks Draft picks on the next show.

The guys start by talking about the latest workout craze on the Coasts, and soon to hit Zurich. Steven and Jeff finally get to the NFC East and evaluate the talent selected in the draft. Steven’s joy of the Cowboys drafting WR Dez Bryant was held in check because he did not think the Cowboys draft was real solid. The guys disagreed on the Giants draft, while liking what the Eagles did. Steven asks why the Panthers drafted QB Armanti Edwards in the third-round when they had just drafted QB Jimmy Clausen. Steven and Jeff both like the Packers picks and Steven agrees to call Detroit, the Lions, but will return to calling them “kitty-cats” if they start 0-4 next season. The guys also discuss the Redskins, Saints, Bears, Vikings, Falcons and Bucs.

The NFL Draft is over and Steven and Jeff share their opinions on what all the teams did. Since there was plenty of NFL News to talk about, and the guys covering the entire AFC, the show was a little longer than usual.

The guys start with some NFL News, including QB Ben Roethlisberger and his latest apology and deciding not to appeal his suspension. The guys also talk about the Patriots releasing LB Adalius Thomas, the Jets releasing 9-time Pro Bowl G Alan Faneca and still owing him $5.25 million, the Titans agreeing to terms with undrafted RB LeGarrette Blount from Orgeon despite reports that Blount had signed with the 49ers and undrafted TE Scott Sicko and his decision to turn down NFL offers because he was undrafted.

The guys then turned their talks to the AFC teams and focus on what those teams did in the draft. The guys agreed that the Bills and Jaguars did not have spectacular drafts, nor did the Colts for that matter. They also agreed that the Ravens, Dolphins and Jets had solid drafts. The guys disagreed on the Patriots draft while they both were uncertain of the Chiefs, Texans and Steelers draft.

One thing that was certain, they had plenty of opinions on the Denver Broncos and all the draft moves. Plus the guys talk about how they feel about the new NFL Draft format.

The guys talk about WR Torry Holt getting signed by the Patriots, the Vikings re-signing of QB Tavaris Jackson and the latest involving Commissioner Roger Goodell and QB Ben Roethlisberger.

Steven and Jeff then tackle the NFC South and NFC West and what each team in those divisions might be looking to do in the upcoming draft. Steven thinks that Tampa Bay may be looking to trade down as they might not be able to afford the #3 pick overall in the draft, and both guys agree that Rams need a whole lot of help and that drafting a quarterback might not be in their best interests.

Plus the guys give you step by step instructions on how to get a gravatar and add it to your comments on the site.

Steven and Jeff now look to the NFC to assess draft needs. The guys continue to discuss QB Ben Roethlisberger and the disclosure of the police reports that reveal the quarterback has some serious problems. Not to mention, the Pennsylvania State Trooper that is under investigation for his role in the incident. It wouldn’t be a show without a Good ‘Ole Boy to talk about and Browns RB Chris Jennings fits the bill this week.

On the last show, the guys talked about the possibility of WR Brandon Marshall being traded, and not only did get shipped to Miami, the Dolphins cast off WR Ted Ginn Jr. to the 49ers. Jeff and Steven back Jerry Jones for the video taken in secret, and Steven wonders how NFL Draft prospect, Ndamukong Suh, could pledge $2.6M to his alma mater Nebraska.

Plus Steven and Jeff take a look at what the teams in the NFC East and NFC North might try to pick up in the upcoming draft. Jeff seems to think the Lions still need lots of help and will only win a couple of games next year. Steven thinks that Bruce Allen and Mike Shanahan better not miss with the Redskins’ #4 pick in the draft since they don’t have many picks this year. And both guys agree that the Bears are limbo as far as the draft is concerned having given away so much for the QB Jay Cutler.
