Cowboys Stay On Top

This may be Tony Romo’s final shot at getting to the big game surrounded with the talent Dallas has on its roster right now and he knows it, so I expect the Cowboys to come out hard and fast by putting some distance between them and the Eagles early on. Dallas may finish the season with two 1,000 yard rushers in Joseph Randle and Darren McFadden.

Chip Kelly can wheel and deal all he likes, but at the end of the day if his defense cannot stop anyone, who cares what the offense does. Plus he better hope quarterback Sam Bradford can stay healthy all year.

The Giants cannot afford to have Eli Manning lead the league in interceptions again, especially with a defense that has yet to find itself. They’ve brought back Stevie Brown, but with Jason Pierre-Paul still not signed, it might be a long season for the G-Men.

This offseason, Washington might have reached a new low by replacing Oakland as the worst run franchise in the NFL. The decision to not only bench, but drop Robert Griffin III to third string may be Jay Gruden’s worst mistake.
