The season ending injury list continues to grow. Atlanta Falcons OT Sam Baker will miss the 2014-15 season with ruptured right patella tendon. Baker suffered the injury in the preseason game against the Houston Texans.
Steven’s Take:
Baker can’t catch a break. Last year he ruptured his left patella tendon and missed a dozen games and now the Falcons have to readjust their offensive line which was questionable to begin with. Sources say the team will consider moving first-round pick Jake Matthews from right tackle to left tackle. Matthews had better get ready in a hurry or else Matt Ryan may not have time to throw the ball. If Matthew struggles to protect the left side of the line, there will be plenty of negative fantasy implications to Ryan, Steven Jackson, Julio Jones and Roddy White.
