Just about every media outlet this morning is telling you that Tony Romo thinks the media doesn’t matter. Hey, we got you to click on the link didn’t we. But the bottom line is that this quote was taken out of context as usual. He had more to say that is not getting out.
Bottom line is that he has had enough of the negative criticism the media has thrown his way. Can’t say that I blame him. At some point, enough is enough. This was Romo telling the media gathered for the start of the Cowboys mini-camp, that they can write whatever about the Cowboys but at the end of the day, the players still have to go out and play and execute. Romo knows that regardless of what anyone says, he still has to go out and help the Cowboys win games.
