Is there anyone playing better than the Denver Broncos? I don’t think so. Denver is the only team with a top 5 ranked offense and defense and remain at the top of my Power List. The Patriots dropped after losing to the 49ers and the Texans and Falcons both bounce back.

DENVER BRONCOS: 11-3
The Broncos have won nine games in a row and are looking good doing it. They are the only team with a top 5 offense and top 5 defense. They are the complete package.
HOUSTON TEXANS: 12-2
One week after being embarrassed by the Patriots, the Texans found a way to get back into the win column. J.J. Watt might not just be the Defensive MVP, but the league MVP as well.
SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS: 10-3-1
By handing the Patriots their first home loss in the month of December in 10 years, Kaepernick showed why Harbaugh made the change at QB. Vernon Davis might believe that he and Kaepernick are not yet on the same page, but OK, I’m a believer now.
ATLANTA FALCONS: 12-2
You wanted us to take you seriously and responded by shutting out the defending Super Bowl Champs 34-0. OK, you’ve got our attention now and one more win and the road to the Super Bowl goes through Atlanta in the playoffs.
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS: 10-4
If last week’s 42-14 thrashing of the Texans was a statement, what was this week’s 41-34 loss to the 49ers? Going 1-3 against the NFC West is not a good sign.
GREEN BAY PACKERS: 10-4
The Packers have won the NFC North with two weeks left in the season. Now they hope the 49ers slip up so they can grab the No. 2 spot in the playoffs. If only they had a running game. Yeah, they said that two years ago too.
SEATTLE SEAHAWKS: 9-5
The Seahawks did something no NFL team has done in 62 years. They score 50+ points in back-to-back weeks. Russell Wilson is in complete control of the offense and this defense is scary good.
WASHINGTON REDSKINS: 8-6
Going on the road and getting a win with a backup rookie quarterback is impressive. Kirk Cousins looked great against the Browns and the Redskins are primed to take the NFC East.

BALTIMORE RAVENS: 9-5
I never believed that Cam Cameron was the problem. The Ravens have lost three in a row and back-to-back games at home after going 15-0 at M&T Bank Stadium. Now what happens if they lose three consecutive home games?

DALLAS COWBOYS: 8-6
Say what you want about the Cowboys, but you have to give them credit for finding ways to win games late. This team was losing close games earlier in the season, now they are winning them.

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS: 9-5
Andrew Luck came down to earth a little against the Texans, but I am not sure many outside of Indianapolis game the Colts a chance in Houston. They must win at Kansas City or chance at playoffs might slip away.

NEW YORK GIANTS: 8-6
The Giants have lost four out of the last six games and are no longer in the driver seat for the NFC East. If they lose at Baltimore next week, they will most likely miss the playoffs.
MINNESOTA VIKINGS: 8-6
If Adrian Peterson does not win the MVP award, then I don’t know what the award means. His performance is the only reason why the Vikings are getting at 8-6.
CINCINNATI BENGALS: 8-6
The Bengals are 5-1 after four straight losses. Now here comes the big test, at Pittsburgh and home against Baltimore. Lose those two games and what you did in the past six games won’t matter.
CHICAGO BEARS: 8-6
After a 7-1 start, the Bears have lost five out of six and are in danger of missing the playoffs. With two road games remaining, the Bears cannot afford another loss. Now Jay Cutlers says this season is “frustrating.” Uh-oh, it could be falling apart around Lovie.
PITTSBURGH STEELERS: 7-7
Big Ben is complaining about the offense while Mike Tomlin says Ben is on board with the current offense. You know who we have not heard from, Todd Haley. If the QB doesn’t trust the offensive coordinator, the team isn’t going far.
NEW ORLEANS SAINTS: 6-8
I’m not sure that even the Saints know who they are right now. One week after giving up 52 points to the Giants, they shut out the Buccaneers 41-0 at home. Which team shows up next week at Dallas?
ST. LOUIS RAMS: 6-7-1
You can’t give up 212 yards rushing to one person and expect people to take your defense seriously. With two road games left, the Rams are looking at another losing season. Jeff Fisher doesn’t want the Rams to be "that team". But I’m not sure they can pull out the next two.
MIAMI DOLPHINS: 6-8
Oddly enough, the Dolphins are still in the playoff hunt. If the Bengals lose their final two and the Steelers lose in Week 17 the Dolphins would enter the playoffs with wins over the Bills and Patriots. Not gonna happen, but how cool would it be if it did?
CLEVELAND BROWNS: 5-9
Well, that was fun while it lasted. We all knew the Browns could not keep winning forever, but losing to a team starting a backup rookie quarterback does not exactly inspire confidence for the future of this team.
TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS: 6-8
Looks like giving up 13 points in the final four minutes to the Eagles last week was the beginning of the end. A 41-0 spanking at the hands of the league’s worst defense is a joke. The Buccaneers season is officially over.
CAROLINA PANTHERS: 5-9
If only the Panthers were more consistent. A 31-7 beatdown of the Chargers is nice, but the back-to-back wins are a little too little, a little too late! Even Ron Rivera thinks he might lose his job.
SAN DIEGO CHARGERS: 5-9
That win over the Steelers last week is a mirage. Time to get rid of Norv Turner and A.J. Smith. Also time to find a new running back because Ryan Matthews is officially Italian. He’s "Fragile".
BUFFALO BILLS: 5-9
I don’t care how much money they paid Ryan Fitzpatrick, the Buffalo Bills need a quality quarterback. Their offense falters far too often and giving up 50 points to the Seahawks is disconcerting. Fitzpatrick says, “It is not because of a lack of effort.” But I’m not buying that.
TENNESSEE TITANS: 5-9
Props to Chris Johnson for honoring the victims of Sandy Hook Elementary School and that 94-yd TD run was pretty cool too. Incredible how the Titans embarrassed the Jets and forced the benching of Mark Sanchez.
NEW YORK JETS: 6-8
Maybe we all should have realized that Mark Sanchez was never the answer. Honestly don’t think the NFL has seen a successful quarterback come out of USC. That’s why it’s Greg McElroy time in New York. Wait, where’s Tebow?
ARIZONA CARDINALS: 5-9
Where did that come from? After losing nine straight, I had left this team for dead. Big win over the Lions, but who are the Cardinals trying to kid? They need a ton of help on the offensive side of the ball.

DETRIOT LIONS: 4-10
I’ve giving this team way too much credit. They are bad and they are in trouble. When you keep losing to teams you should beat, maybe you’re just not that good. Jim Schwartz says “4-10 isn’t good enough”. Yeah, you think?

OAKLAND RAIDERS: 4-10
The Raiders proved that they are not the worse team in the AFC West. Too bad it took five Janikowski field goals to get it done. There’s always next year, Raider Nation!
PHILADELPHIA EAGLES: 4-10
It turns out that reports saying that the Eagles were changing their name to the Philadelphia Turnovers was false. Too bad, because it would fit. With five turnovers against the Bengals, the Eagles now have an NFL-high 34 turnovers.
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS: 2-12
The Jaguars cannot seriously be thinking about dumping Maruice Jones-Drew. The Jaguars are ranked 30th in rushing this season and have only two wins to show for it. MJD is a solution, not a problem. They can keep selling the Chad Henne dinks and dunks, but fans won’t buy that.
KANSAS CITY CHIEFS: 2-12
There are no words to express how bad the Chiefs are this season. NONE!
