These are perfect, so no point leaving less than glowing comments.
9th place for my Steelers? That`s very fair. Thankyou, Jeff.
Manning was awesome but the Broncos only won by Parker picking 6 off Big Ben in the 4th. Up until that point (and despite the Steelers being down Clark, Harrison, Mendenhall, Johnson, et al) the game could`ve gone either way.
I`m not too impressed thus far with Haley`s run-run-pass offence. I understand the idea (turning Johnson from TE to FB, for example) is to have more bodies in the back-field to protect Ben and keep him healthy for the last three/four years of his contract, but this rotating-commitee-of-backs isn`t being productive enough. A GOOD runner needs to get 45% of the yards needed on 1st down, 60% of remaining yards needed on 2nd down and ALL of the remaining yards needed on 3rd down to be considered a successful, go-to back. We don`t have one of those. There aren`t many in the league. Maybe Dwyer will become one.
I found it a tough game to watch. As brilliant as Manning was (and he was REALLY brilliant when he went no-huddle and started calling his own plays) I am one of those that are slightly horrified that – given his injuries – he is back playing in the NFL. At some point this season he`s going to have the strong side to his right, no back to his left and the LT is going to miss a block just as Manning is stretching back for a long bomb. At that point I shall avert my eyes and keep my fingers crossed. I`m just glad it didn`t happen against my Steelers. I sincerely hope it won`t happen at all, but I am very afraid for him.
Enjoying all things `R and R` again this year (well worth $10+) and hope Cam will allow you to wear your Panthers shirt with pride. (Steven`s right – you should have gone with the Falcons this year [thanks again for the Week 1 “Dumbest Wager” shout-out])
As a Dolphins fan who watched the game on Sunday, I don’t think we actually deserve to be on the list at all.
Maybe the Bears should be ahead of the Saints, but other than that…
Texans for Super Bowl!!
There seems to be a huge gap between the best and worst this year bigger than anything since lions went 0 and 16. Should be another colour even worse than the green
what happened to all that love for buffalo? that’s all I’m saying.
My love for Buffalo is with their defense… wherever that is!
super chargers…on the road…monday night….division rival..(remember “i hate the raiders” boy).. , and come away with a win !! 21 ?? are you kidding me!! Would be a MAXIMUM bet over the 17 rated vikings!!
love the rankings debate….
see you in london!
Lowest ranked 1 – 0 team? The AZ Cardinals.
Lowest ranked 1 – 0 team, AZ Cardinals, defeats 2nd ranked (1 – 0) N.E. Patriots.
Week 2 in the NFL leaves the league with 6 undefeated teams: Texans, Chargers, in the AFC, and Eagles, Falcons, Cardinals, and 49ers, in the NFC. Will the Cardinals remain the lowest ranked 2 – 0 team?
Furthermore, after week 2, the NFC West has the most wins (fewest losses) than any division in the NFL. Opponents defeated by NFC West teams include the Packers, Patriots, Lions, and Cowboys. Has the NFC Worst become the NFC Best?
Hoping the Bills shed their moss this week… right? :)
