Coming back from an explosive Divisional Round weekend, the guys bring you a review and recap of the match-ups!

It started off Saturday with the San Francisco 49ers coming up on top over Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints. While incredibly dull and long in the middle of the game, the game turned around near the end with 4 lead changes in the last 4 minutes! Brees led a TD run with just over 3 minutes remaining and Alex Smith answered with an similar offensive push ending with a pass to Vernon Davis in the end zone for a 36-32 lead and final score.

Later on, the Denver Broncos faced off against the feared New England Patriots, but this time without a typical Broncos-underdog-come-from-behind win. Tom Brady tied the NFL postseason record for TD passes in a single game with a total of 6, five of which were in the first half. The Broncos, led by NFL celeb Tim Tebow, fell to the Patriots by a landslide 45-10.

On Sunday, the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens went head to head. Joe Flacco and his defense looks like it could be overtaken and outscored by a solid QB. What the guys are curious about– TJ Yates, why did you feel the need to bomb to ball 50 yards when you were at the 1st and 10 at the BAL 48 with 2 minutes and 2 timeouts remaining. Huh? Mistakes like this may have cost them the game. The Ravens ended up on top, 20-13.

For the final face off of the weekend, the New York Giants played the Green Bay Packers. Jeff feels that if the officials had actually been making better calls, it would have been even a bigger blow out. Steven looks back when he said the winner of the Giants/Cowboys would go to the Championship Game and demands an apology from Jeff. Don’t confuse flagellation with flatulation.
