Today is the big day. It’s the last show for the guys.. until 2012 that is! The new year unfortunately bears great burdens on some. The guys speculate that Steve Spagnuolo, Norv Turner, Raheem Morris, some interim head coaches and others will be without a job on Monday based on their performance this season and season’s past.

EL JUEGO GRANDE ESTUPENDO DEL DIA! That’s right, there are no other games this week except for on Sunday. All the teams will play, but only one game really matters in the playoffs run– that’s the 8-7 Giants hosting the 8-7 Cowboys at MetLife Stadium on Sunday. The outcome will determine who represents the NFC East (and possibly Tom Coughlin’s job).

For once, the Oakland Raiders stand at the utter edge of history. That’s right, they are a mere 11 yards from the most penalty yards in the league. In addition to that, they need only a small 4 penalties called to break the league record for that as well. The current record holder is the Kansas City Chiefs… from 1998. They should be relieved that after 13 years, that burden can finally be passed on. Good luck and God Speed to you, Oakland Raiders. We’re all rooting for ya!

Happy New Year! Be safe, have fun, cherish the season!
