The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that the Browns' have fired director of player personnel TJ McCreight.
McCreight was an option for the Browns' vacant GM position, but it now looks like the job will go to Ravens' pro personnel director George Kokinis, who hasn't officially joined the team yet, but should very soon. His duties with the Ravens were very similar to those of McCreight's, so the team obviously feels that an outside option is the best way to go.
Also, Eric Mangini and Kokinis have a good relationship, a very important factor after Cleveland decided on hiring a head coach without a new GM on board. A GM and head coach not on the same page can produce disasterous results, so it's a pretty solid choice for the Browns.
