Joey Galloway has missed the Buccaneers' last two games after spraining his foot on September 14th. We discovered yesterday that he'll miss his third straight game tomorrow, not playing against the Broncos.
According to the St. Petersburg Times, “indications are he hasn't shown much progress since.”
This is obviously not good, and must concern the Bucs greatly. Although Galloway is getting old and losing speed, he's still the best receciver Tampa has, and will be a crucial piece of their team if they want to make the playoffs, especially if Brian Griese is going to be throwing the ball in one game as much as he would in two.
We'll see if he begins showing any signs of improvement next week, but as of right now, I'd be very afraid that he'll be out for a longer period of time.
