Steven here:

John Madden and Al Michaels just gave the new NFL Commissioner, Roger Goodell, the football they claim was the football used for the opening kickoff of the game between the Dolphins and Steelers. However, I think there is a problem with them telling the commish that.

The kickers use a different NFL ball for kicking field goals and kick offs. Those balls are clearly marked with a K. The ball John Madden handed the commissioner did not have a K on it, therefore it could not have been the ball used for the opening kickoff.

Not good NBC! Not good at all. So, are little white lies OK when you think nobody will know the difference?
