The Good
The toughness and integrity of the NFL.
After the Houston Texan’s last second losses the last few weeks, many began to question if teams that were out of the playoff race sort of mailed it in for the rest of the season. We got our answer this week! NO.

The Texans finally win big by taking an early lead and keeping the Cardinals at bay. Tennessee puts up a great fight and give the Seahawks a mighty good scare. The inept San Francisco 49ers take the Jaguars, a team headed to the playoffs, to the limit and lose by a single point. And the San Diego Chargers give the previously unbeaten Colts their first loss of the season. Plus the Colts, having nothing to play for having assured themselves of home field advantage throughout the playoffs, fought hard and came back to make it a close game.

The NFL is amazing!

The Bad
The Green Bay Packers.

For the few who watched the Monday night game between the Packers and the Ravens, yuck! Either Brett Farve has completely lost it, or the Packers are the worst team in football – well let’s not go that far, the NFL still has the Lions and Raiders.

Brett Farve was held without a TD pass again, 3 INTs and only threw for 144 yards. Not sure what is going on in Green Bay, but something has to give – either Brett needs to move on, or the Packers need to tell him to move on. Hopefully, Brett will know his time has come, and he will bow out gracefully.

The Ugly
The Oakland Raiders.

7 points at home, with all that talent on offense, they only score 7 points at home. HORRIBLE! ‘Nuff said!
