The guys recap a wild Week 14 where 5 teams erased 12+ point deficits to record wins and Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos get their 3rd overtime win over the Chicago Bears. Steven says he is disappointed in himself for letting Jeff threaten him out of a pick, the Eagles but with a win from the Giants, Jeff’s magic number is one!
In injury news, Packers WR Greg Jennings suffered a knee sprain and looks to miss some time but should be back for the playoffs, Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray is lost for the season with an ankle fracture, the Jets S Jim Leonard will also miss the rest of the season with a knee injury and Falcons Head Coach Mike Smith suffered chest pains and did not make the flight back with the Falcons, but thankfully he seems to be OK now.
Finally, Steven gives you a quick run-down of the Cowboys/Giants game and both guys thank the Houston Texans as they clinch the AFC South and a playoff birth for the first time in franchise history.
I think the live stream of the podcast recording would be great. Based on the times you mentioned, I’d probably be able to see the live stream, but as Steven mentioned, if the ustream allows for watching anytime once the show is done, I really don’t see a downside. The only downside may be the show becoming bogged down with loser interaction, but I think the user interaction would be a draw and may be a positive aspect. Of course, I’m sure I’d be a repeat offender of trying to provide input during the show. :-)
I wouldn’t watch a live steam.
Not because I don’t love you guys and wouldn’t want to talk to you, but because it doesn’t fit with how I listen to your show – I generally listen to you guys when walking somewhere, or in the car, or on a train, or cooking something, or doing a repetative task at work.
None of these are things that’re very compatible with video, let alone interaction. That’s not to say a live show’s a bad idea, you guys’re at your best when you’re rambling and off topic rather than regimented and tightly controlled so I suspect the chaos of live shows’d be fun to listen to afterwards.
