Steven and Jeff are back, and in the FIX today, they discuss the possible return of QB Daunte Culpepper as he works out of the 49ers. Steven says it sounds like “Danger Will Robinson”
The New York Jets get “Ship All Banged Up!” in their preseason opener versus the Houston Texans as backup center Rob Turner suffered a broken leg and RB Joe McKnight suffered a concussion in the 20-16 loss.
The Chicago Bears show a blatant disregard for new kick-off rules, as they kick-off from the 30-yard line until the league made them kick-off from the 35.
Plus Tom Brady claims he is shocked that he did not play in the pre-season opener against the Jagurars.
I love the show guys everything from the podcast to the football fix keep it up
It’s a nice thought that the Pats/ Kraft family would think that the fans deserve Tom Brady for a series or 2. However, given this offseason, surely this is naive – they’ll do what they want to do, what they think is best for them, with little regard for the fans.
Not wanting to go off on a rant about the owners don’t care at all about any one else – let’s accept the Kraft Family run their organisation well, and Beelicheat is a great coach. However, each team will focus solely on what they see is best for their team. As you say, Brady wasn’t actually shocked!
