The guys are pumped up as the football season is finally here. The guys kick it off right with a little NFL News. Chad really changes his name to Chad Javon Ocho Cinco, promting Steven to change his last name too. The Pat's Tom Brady says he is ready to play, but no word from Belichik on the actual injury to Brady. The Bucs are looking for a kicker, the Raiders sign a WR, Aaron Rodgers crying about a six year old and Jeff strikes again, as Fred Taylor is arrested. The start of the football season is so close we can taste it! 7 days before the start of the 2008 NFL Season, so Steven and Jeff break out their preseason predictions. Yes, Steven finally gives you his final records. The guys go over some NFL News, and Steven calls Shawne Merriman’s decision to forgo surgery idiotic. Peyton Manning’s knee is looking pretty good and the Jags finally sign their man. After that, the guys divulge their playoff teams and Jeff and Steven have 4 different teams facing off in Super Bowl XLIII. Who will be right? You decided.

After a week off, the guys return with plenty of NFL News just 9 days before the season starts. First off, the “Ship All Banged Up!” segment returns with plenty of injuries. The Giants lose Osi Umenyiora for the season and seek “The Gap”. Jason Taylor dances to injury but claims to be ready for the season opener. Chad Johnson has a partially torn labrum in his left shoulder and now the Bengals want to trade him, Merriman is no longer merry. The guys pay tribute to Gene Upshaw, a horrible loss to the NFL and its players. Then Steven and Jeff then break down the Arizona Cardinals, Saint Louis Rams, San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks and they differ big time on who will win this division. Plus Doc Rob begs for donations on Steven and Jeff’s behalf.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Jeff, as the big man turns 43! The guys share a fun show talking about the NFC South. In NFL News, the guys discuss the Rams missing hold out RB Steven Jackson. What will the Rams season be without him? Plus “Ship All Banged Up!” segment returns as the end of training camps provide plenty of walking wounded as the Colts, Jaguars and Broncos all have plenty of injuries. Steven and Jeff then break down the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Plus the guys play a little bit of Jeopardy, Carolina Panther style.
