<itunes:summary>The guys are off to Indy! They’ll be on Radio Row all week, attending the pageantry of the Media Day Circus. Be sure to follow the website for updates, shows, and podcasts throughout the week!
Special guest, former Redskins LB, LaVar Arrington calls in with a truly unique interview. He played for Penn State under JoPa, was the #2 overall pick in the 2000 draft, 3 time pro-bowl’er and creator of the Xtreme Procision complete football training system. He provides some great insight to his system and company as well as a few nice stories and words about former coach, Joe Paterno.
Finally, the tables turn for Kyle Williams. After all the death threats this past week after he flubbed a couple catches that helped the Giants pull out a 20-17 win last week, 7 year old Los Angelesian Owen sent a heart wrenching, tear jerking letter to Mr. Williams. Sometimes, it’s the positive reinforcement that helps struggling players. </itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>Yes, it’s a short show, but as the guys are getting ready to head out to Indy, even with their hectic schedules, they were able to sneak this show in before they leave to cover Super Bowl 46 for Sky Sports News Radio and Sky Sports News.
They mainly focus on current NFL News and get bogged down with the Colts and Buccaneers new coaching hires. Neither of the guys likes the Bucs hiring of Greg Schiano. This hire is the same as keeping Raheem Morris as their coach. Steven says it might even be worse since Schiano may not have the NFL coaching tree to help him out. Both guys do not expect much from the Buccaneers next year.
As far as the Colts hiring Chuck Pagano (Ravens DC) as their new head coach, Jeff feels strongly that QB Peyton Manning will be out the door. Jeff thinks Colts owner Jim Irsay will be able to spin the release of Manning by saying that Manning did not want to restructure his deal. The Irsay and Manning ordeal has just begun.</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>Today, the guys recap the awful 20-17 overtime loss to the New York Giants. It was a horrible end to an amazing season, but not just one person is to blame. Sure, backup Kyle Williams did drop some vital catches that led to Giants possessions, but that may have never happened without starter Ted Ginn Jr. In the end, Giants Kicker Lawrence Tynes made a 31-yard FG in overtime to send the Giants to Super Bowl 46
Kyle Williams was the center of attention after the game, but he stood strong and tall. He stood at his locker and spoke to the media after the game and the next morning. He didn’t shy away from his mistakes and took responsibility for him and his teammates, but some people went to far. The media reported of death threats (yes, like those cut out of magazines) towards Williams after the game. That’s crossing the line and straight up disgusting considering he didn’t hurt anyone and just made mistakes. You can make those death threats once YOU’VE done everything perfect, 49ers fans.
Hawaii or Indianapolis? I’m sure a few players on the 49ers are glad deep down inside that they are heading to the land of surfing and tanning instead of bundling up and bracing for the cold weather Indianapolis holds in store. The Pro Bowl starters include: Justin Smith, Joe Staley, Patrick Willis, David Akers, Brian Jennings, and Andy Lee. These players were chosen to play, but cannot due to injury: Carlos Rogers, Dashon Goldson, and Frank Gore.
The guys look ahead for the 49ers this off season, touching on what will change and what will stay the same. They are hoping for some new WR’s and to keep the defensive team. Alex Smith’s future is still in question as his contract has expired. </itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>The Coaching Carousel comes to an abrupt halt as the ride stops for the season. There were two spots left and two spots filled. The first lucky winner is Greg Schiano to go to Tampa Bay. Let’s be real though, the guys expected a bit more out of the Buccs. Their taking a 45 year old who has never coached an NFL team, a .500 Purdue coach, but hopefully he can pull of something crazy this coming season. Second is Ravens Defensive Coordinator Chuck Pagano to take the HC job at Indy. He said its hard to leave the Ravens, but it will be a good opportunity.
According to Coach Belichick, TE Rob Gronkowski isn’t practicing due to an injury. He’s been walking around in the facility in a walking boot, but the guys have Coach Belichick on the show to explain it a bit more!
Tasty waves and bodacious football this weekend in Hawaii! The Pro Bowl comes to Honolulu, are you ready? Are you even interested? Some other things to do this weekend include, but are not limited to:
     -Watching the Pro Bowl
     -Changing your oil
     -Shaving your cat
     -Sitting on an airplane
Take you pick, they all sound equally exciting to the guys!</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>Peyton Manning finally comes out to the media for one of the first times in the season and steals their attention from his little brother, Eli Manning. The Indianapolis Star released an interview with the benched super star QB for the troubled Colts. Peyton talks new GM Ryan Grigson, the environment at the stadium, and the overall atmosphere and world around Peyton.
The guys deliver an update from the Coaching Carousel! The Raiders find their man for the “black hole”– Broncos DC Dennis Allen. The Dolphins also pick up Packers Offensive Coordinator Joe Philbin. Finally, Roger Goodell’s contract is extended through the 2018 season by council of the NFL owners.
Consumer alert! Reebok has been dropped and NFL is in. That’s right, they are the official gear provider for the NFL now. This means that players can change their number without paying tons of money, but that also means that if you buy or own a current Reebok jersey, it may not have the same number or even look the same as it has these past years. Hopefully they won’t go as far a the college football teams have… </itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>The stage for Super Bowl 46 has been set! It was a wild weekend in the Divisional Championship round and the guys will recap it for ya! The Patriots pulled ahead of the Ravens late in the game, almost losing to a FG attempt by Billy Cundiff, but sighed a sigh of relief when he missed wide left. 2 plays earlier, Lee Evans missed a potential game winning TD pass when it was stripped out of his hands. In times like that, you need to have a good grip on that ball! Joe Flacco is finally recognized as Mr. Reliable. Congrats!
On the other side of the ball, Tom Brady recognizes his “sucking” and the guys couldn’t agree more! Despite his terrible grammar, if he can suck and have his team still win, what does that say about the Patriots organization?
The 49ers show that the team is made of individuals and that they are only as strong as their weakest link. Ted Ginn Jr. has been one of the most reliable returning players since joining the NFL 5 years ago when he was a top draft pick. He grew tremendously and the niners could have greatly used him on the field, but instead had to use back up Kyle Williams which arguably cost him them the game.
Eli Manning finally has the opprotunity to outshine his bigger brother, Peyton, with another shot at the Super Bowl Bling! After his great performance yesterday, the guys do acknowledge that he is an elite player in the NFL. </itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>What a weekend of football. Super Bowl 46 is set and its a rematch of Super Bowl 42 as the Giants and Patriots both escaped with victories thanks to the 49ers and Ravens special teams units. Steven says he aches for the losing teams but was left with an uneasy feeling knowing the games were not won on heroic plays but rather lost with horrible plays.
Steven says he is not excited for this match up, until Jeff reminds him that he is going to the Super Bowl and is one of the luckiest guys on the planet. Steven says he will have a great time covering the Super Bowl but is not looking forward to covering the Patriots and Giants players as they will not be as fun as Packers and Giants players, they will get rehearsed and canned answers.
In discussing the games, the guys agree that Joe Flacco out played Tom Brady but Billy Cundiff’s miss was just wrong. Steven goes on record saying he would never have his season end on the foot of a kicker, not even if the kicker for 100 fro 100 from 32-yards out. Jeff makes the case that Eli Manning has earned elite status and nobody will be able to deny him if he gets his second Super Bowl ring.
Finally, Steven feels for the 49ers and says that the NFC West needs to watch out as this team is going to be around for a long time. </itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>The guys are all pumped up and ready for Championship Weekend. What could be better than one Sunday with two games and the outcome determines who goes to Super Bowl 46. The guys talk about T.O. being shunned by the NFL and heading to the Indoor Football League, Steve Spagnuolo becoming the defensive coordinator in New Orleans, Chris Mara of the Giants missing his first Giants game in 40 years to attend the Golden Globes, and Bears RB Matt Forte suggests he might hold out if Bears use franchise tag.
The guys are joined by Ravens nose tackle Terrence Cody who talks about watching the Alabama/LSU National Championship game with friends at home because of having practice, owning and breeding dogs for his dog kennel, looking for double teams when the Patriots run the ball and the Ravens having confidence going into this game against the Patriots. One the Ravens will not be is afraid of playing New England.
Finally, the guys discuss both games and make their picks. Steven is a bit surprised that he and Jeff had made the same picks for this weekends games. Should make for an interesting Championship Sunday!</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>Jerome Simpson gets even higher than with his spectacular catch this past season. He was indicted for drug trafficking which is classified as having over 8oz. but under 5lbs, so basically more than personal consumption, but less than Sam Hurd. He will face felony punishment with between 1-5 years in prison. The indictment comes about 4 months after authorities confiscated a package with 2.5 pounds of marijuana that had been shipped from Northern California to his home in Kentucky.
Today, the guys have on Ravens NT Terrence Cody! He answers some questions about this weekends game against the New England Patriots regarding double teams, pass rushing, and confidence about their unstoppable offense.
Giants VP of Player Evaluation, Chris Mara, has missed his first game in over 40 years. He was absent from this weeks game against the Packers to see his daughter, Rooney Mara, in Hollywood as she was nominated for a best actress award for her star role in “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.” Someone asked Chris about it and he simply said, “This isn’t exactly a piano recital.”
Micro Celebrity of the Day wants to know… about the weather. Sean Wilson asks on Facebook, “With the weather expected to be bad in San Francisco, who will benefit from the poor conditions?” Tune in to find out what the guys think!</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>The guys look back at the spectacular 4th quarter win over the New Orleans Saints. While incredibly dull and long in the middle of the game, the game turned around near the end with 4 lead changes in the last 4 minutes! Brees led a TD run with just over 3 minutes remaining and Alex Smith answered with an similar offensive push ending with a pass to Vernon Davis in the end zone for a 36-32 lead and final score. Drew Brees was obviously frustrated with the rock wall of a defense that the 49ers put up. The guys find themselves fortunate to have been in the end zone during one of the most memorable TD’s this season.
With the latest injury report from the Niners, we learn that Delanie Walker has be back at practice after a broken jaw in their week 16 game. Ted Ginn Jr. was not in practice today after an ankle and slight knee tweak. Ray McDonald was working with trainers on the side of the field today before joining the rest of his team on the line. Jonathan Goodwin did not practice today as a result of a lower left leg injury. Dashon Goldson did not practice either today.
Mindi Bach, the 49ers CSN BayArea reporter, joins the guys. She goes into detail about Alex Smith and the 49ers win this week and also some concerns about the Championship game versus the Giants. Finally, the guys look ahead to the match up against the Giants. </itunes:summary>

The Ravens win.. but just barely! Because of their less-than-glorious win, they get a less-than-glorious talk from their teammate and team leader, Ed Reed. He goes to say that Joe Flacco didn’t do a great job and needs to be better. “I think Joe was kinda of rattled a little bit by their defense,” Reed said. At least this isn’t coming in as an anonymous statement, but rather from a reputable player on the team.
Mindi Bach, the 49ers CSN BayArea reporter, joins the guys. She goes into detail about Alex Smith and the 49ers win this week and also some concerns about the Championship game versus the Giants.
The results are in! Based off the poll, 40% of people want to see a Niners/Pats Super Bowl Game this year in Indianapolis. </itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>Today, Jim Caldwell takes the bullet for the near win-less season this past year without Peyton Manning. Everyones favorite billionaire tweeter, Jim Irsay, publishes instructions to see the article, but all the guys get at first is a Colts Cheerleaders photo essay– not that they’re complaining or anything, but after a couple refreshes, the news comes out that the Colts have officially released Jim Caldwell. While maybe not the best choice and a little late for the Jeff Fisher race, some say it will be best for the Colts.
St. Louis wins the lottery and ends up with the BMOC Jeff Fisher as their head coach. This is a huge victory for the Rams fans and will hopefully begin to move the Saints in the right direction. Jeff Fisher announced he will bring New Orleans Saints Defensive Coordinator Greg Williams to join him on his conquest next season.
Finally, the guys bring you a poll! Which Super Bowl do you want to see? Niners/Ravens, Niners/Patriots, Giants/Patriots, or Giants/Ravens? Go out to NFLRandR.com and go vote for your choice! The guys can’t wait to see what you all think! </itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>The guys have returned from San Francisco and have some great stories to share about the Saints/49ers Divisional Round game. In NFL News, the guys discuss the Rams announcing Jeff Fisher as their new head coach and also stealing DC Greg Williams away from New Orleans. John Elway says Tim Tebow will be the starting QB heading into training camp next year, while longtime NFL coach Mike Martz announces his retirement.
The guys then discuss the four Divisional Round Playoff games. They spend plenty of time on the 49ers/Saints game since they were actually there covering the game for Sky Sports and Sky Sports News Radio. Guys talk about heading down to the field for the final Saints drive and the final 49ers drive and were standing behind the end zone when TE Vernon Davis made his game winning catch. Steven congratulates QB Tom Brady for tying the postseason record of most TD passes thrown as he torched the Broncos with 6 TD passes. Tim Tebow train is derailed and the guys are a little happy about that.
Finally, Steven says the Texans outplayed the Ravens with the exception of the turnover category, but also says Ed Reed is the man and can play ball until he is 50 and in a wheel chair! Jeff is a little sad to see “his Gold team” lose to the Giants, but Steven says he knew it was going to happen all along. Both guys went 3-1 with their Divisional Round picks.</itunes:summary>
