My apologies again
UPDATE: Ok, I will definitely be back tomorrow. I’m very sorry about this three-day absence; as I said yesterday, something came up that I hadn’t planned for. Starting tomorrow and leading up to Thursday’s opening night game, I’ll be doing a mass-preview.

More suspensions coming?
NFL Network’s Adam Schefter is reporting that some suspensions will be coming down from Roger Goodell soon, including Vikings’ guard Bryant McKinnie(four games) and Patriots’ running back Kevin Faulk(one game). Both of these players were arrested in the offseason.
The loss of McKinnie would hurt Minnesota’s offensive line, but they could survive four games without him. [...]

Falcons 10, Ravens 9
The Falcons won the game dominated by defense, winning 10-9 over the Ravens.
Matt Ryan, the new starting quarterback, struggled, going 3-7 for only seventeen yards. DJ Shockley, on the other hand, played well, possibly giving him a roster spot.
