“Bear Cubs”? Nah. As much as I love the Cubs, I’d prefer to maintain the distinction.

But, if you decide to hold up with the Bear Cubs name, then you must, by default of the fact that they are first place in their division, call the other teams in the NFC North by the following names: Minnesota ViQueens, Green Bay Fudgepackers (I’ll accept “Smackers” as well), and Detroit Pussycats (or “Lionesses”).

And, here in the NFC North, we’ll take first place however we can get it.
